That Time of Year Again

Mr. KIR is the best husband ever. I have known this all of our marriage. Last night he proved this to me again!

I was gone for a few hours, came home to find the kids bathed, in bed, the dishes done, and this as an added bonus: Why is this an added bonus? Because for some strange reason, I really hate this part of the whole fall festivities. I do not know why--just do. I always try to convince the kids to just paint the little mess makers--they always refuse.

Mr. KIR even remembered to take pictures for his blog addicted wife--Such a Great Guy! Maybe I can convince him having mommy gone during this activity is a wonderful new family tradition!

Oh my gosh those children are wearing gloves to pull out pumpkin guts!! I love that Little Man just puts his aside and makes a valiant effort to get messy but only one seed at a time. I don't think it will be too long and your kids won't want to carve pumpkins any more either. I think it is a genetic trait...anti pumpkin guts. I'll talk to Don but yes, I think it is an actual trait. Happy Halloween!!

Oh goodness the gunk is all the fun!! Good ole' slimy stuff it is...but I love the gloves. Mind you Bob has been organizing and cleaning his garage and came across a package of latex gloves and so oh good my big brother can come play now HA. We love ya and they turned out great.

Love the pumpkins!! I didn't get to play in the look-a-like game! By the way, I got all the picture right and I think that Sweetums and Little Man look like. There, now I feel better!

Jackie,
You do have a good hubby! Your blog is cute and I have been reading it. So fun!
Your box went out yesterday via the Post Office. Be sure to let me know when you get it. I didn't send the big magnet board because it was for Kayla - a local scrapbooker-friend. But, I did give you 4 'gifts' total. You and Lisa divy them up how you want....talk to you soon!

Amy--Girl so excited to see your comment, but how can I contact you? Do you have a blog? Let me know as I tried to click on your name from your comment and it went nowhere!

Well I'll leave a comment (for your self validation of course) even though you don't know me (Lynne's youngest sister) and say that they pumpkins look good. I've never carved one and in theory it sounds fun but in practice I can see myself loosing interest real fast. I'll have to try it out sometime to see.

I lost you for awhile and I'm not as dedicated at blogging as you are. Love the new look of your blog. Your kids are so cute and what a great hubby. Mine loves to carve pumpkins, but I usually get the mess.
